How did you find out about The Emotion Code and The Body Code?

I had a massage client from out of town casually mention The Emotion Code book to me. A couple of weeks later, I remembered the conversation and ordered the book. I was only a couple of chapters in when I signed up to do the Emotion Code Practitioner course.
Right after completing the Emotion Code course, I enrolled in the Body Code Practitioner course.

How do you think these healing methods compare to other energy healing modalities?

I've been involved in the healing arts for 30 years or more. I was looking for the modality that "spoke to me" and The Emotion Code and Body Code were it.
I love the simplicity of the work, that for the most part it's not a therapy session, that you identify and then release the trapped emotion. I'm still astonished at the results that can occur.

What advice would you give to those that are new to either The Emotion Code or The Body Code?

I would say be open and be patient. It's always nice when you get instant results, but some of the most dramatic results were achieved after being very persistent. Also, and maybe most importantly, "Healer, heal thyself!" Stay clear and keep working on yourself.

What differences do you see between our healing methods and the westernized medical/drug industry?

The biggest difference between western medicine and The Emotion Code is addressing the underlying causes versus just the symptoms.

Do you have a healing story that you could tell us about?

I was experiencing very uncomfortable pain in my right hip that had seemed to come on rather suddenly. Initially, I did some stretching and massage, but to no avail. I did some Emotion Code work and grief came up over and over.
I'd just lost my mother 2 months prior and I hadn't been able to really process her loss, so the unexpressed grief showed up in my body. Once I addressed it, the pain vanished.

If you could tell the world about Dr. Nelson's methods in one sentence, what would it be?

Releasing trapped emotions is the new frontier in healing.

How do you see this work impacting the future of health care?

I think more and more people are tired of being prescribed pills or surgery for their ailments and not getting any results. More folks are putting two and two together and the notion that emotions could be causing some of their pain is not such a far out idea. I think a lot of people are open to alternative healing in order to take charge of their health.

I like your simple expression to the questions.
