Emotion Code Tip: Work on Your Children

I have four young children and I find it helpful to wait until they are sleeping to work on them. I usually will sit very close to them while I test and I always begin with a prayer. I try to do this if I've noticed that they've had a particularly difficult day (extra crying, clinginess, etc) or if something traumatic happened to them during the day.

I was just debating this, I haven't finished the book yet and gotten to the "proxy" part but wondering if that's what you do? The whole reason I started doing this is to help my child...he's only 5 though and I don't think I could do the arm muscle test on him.

Hi Annetta! Yes, that is one of the reasons I work on my children as a surrogate or via proxy as it is hard to muscle test on them. However, you don't have to wait until they're asleep.

I've worked on my older kids when they're awake so they're more aware of what we're clearing and we can talk about it. I just usually use my best judgement in each situation. Best wishes, Maria.
