Aspartame, marketed as ‘NutraSweet’, ‘Equal’, and ‘Spoonful,” is one of the most common food additives in the United States, yet is a very dangerous poison. At body temperature, aspartame breaks down into formaldehyde and then to formic acid, the poison is found in ant stings. Another breakdown product of aspartame is methanol, or wood alcohol. Methanol toxicity often creates symptoms that are misdiagnosed as multiple sclerosis. People can have full-blown MS symptoms simply due to the diet drinks that they’re consuming. When these people stop drinking diet soda, their MS symptoms often disappear within days. Systemic lupus is often aggravated, and may even be initially triggered by the consumption of aspartame. If you chew gum, you’re consuming aspartame, unless you buy your gum at a health food store, since nearly all gum now contains aspartame.

Aspartame is in all diet drinks, and is now being used in at least 5000 products including yogurt, cooking sauces, crisps, tabletop sweeteners, drink powders, flavored water, sugar-free products, and even cereal. Please read labels, and be aware of what you’re putting into your body!
