Check Your Hormones for Ultimate Health

Hormones play a big role in our lives as they control many body functions. When we are in good health our endocrine glands produce just the right amount of hormones at exactly the right time and this keeps the body balanced beautifully. Any slight imbalance in the production or action of our hormones can cause dis-ease. These diseases are referred to as hormonal diseases. Some day to day examples of this are diabetes, hyperthyroidism, and hypothyroidism, etc.

As you may know everything is energy. Keeping that thought in mind, when working with any dis-ease we can ask the subconscious mind what needs to be released in order to allow the body to come back to balance.

A short time ago I was inspired by Beth Foley (Body Code Practitioner), to look further into hormonal disease. She suggested that we look at what percentage the immune system is functioning at, and then to check the hormones to see if they were functioning at 100% of the optimal levels for the body.

Chain reactions happen on all levels. Initially a chain reaction starts with the glands functioning optimally while each hormone is released when required. The release mechanism, and then the functioning of the hormone, needs to be optimal. When working with the Emotion Code or Body Code it is important to always ask what trapped emotions need to be released in order to allow the glands to function optimally.

I've been working with a client who has diabetes, and after coming across Beth's information on hormones I thought that working on my clients hormone issues could be another way of working with these kinds of conditions.

When you check for trapped emotions ask if the hormones are working at 100% of their capability. By asking we are releasing any other energies that are interfering with its ability to function optimally.

Questions that you can ask after making sure all glands are happy:
Which hormones are not functioning optimally and creating this dis-ease or symptom?
Is there a hormone on this chart that is contributing to this dis-ease or symptom?
What level is the hormone functioning at, less then 50% or more then 50%? (go ahead and deduce the level)
Then ask:
Is there an emotion or something on the Body Code chart (depending on whether you are using EC or BC) that is causing this hormone to be imbalanced?

Once identified, release the emotion and then go back to check if there is anything else that is causing the imbalance. When nothing else is showing up, ask at what level it is functioning now. In one session there can be many hormones that need balancing or there could only be one. It can vary.

I continue to work with my diabetic client on their issue. After the first day of working on their hormone issue his fasting blood sugar began to hover just slightly above normal. This has also happened after previous sessions, but this time he said he felt better. I continue to allow my intuition to guide me and ask for help, and as Dr. Brad always says, this is for the good of our clients and ourselves.

thanks for this but how do we identify which hormones need balancing..... Im confused by these charts....

    • Charan

      February 1, 2013

Fay, I would first work on making sure all glands and organs are "happy" as Dr Brad suggests.
For the hormones, I would then ask, "What hormones on this table are contributing to ______(whatever issue it is)____". Then the chart is set out like the emotion code chart and you can ask is it in column A or B, and then even rows or odd rows. After which you can identify which one it is from the few in the box.
      Hope that helps. 🙂

        Hi Charan:

Thank you for sharing this information. My question is procedural. You suggest that we first ask if all the glands and hormones are happy. What if they are not? Do you just make them happy by swiping the magnet? Or do you ask which ones are not happy and ask if there are trapped emotions in them at this point? Or do you do something else with the Body Code system still at the point of making the glands and hormones happy....before going into the chart to discover which hormones are not functioning correctly? I have both the Emotion Code and Body Code systems but do find the Body Code a little overwhelming to deal with at this point. Thank you for your help.

          February 3, 2013

correction: I meant to write "glands and organs are happy"....not "glands and hormones"

        • Charan

          February 7, 2013

Christa, it is important to ask what on the BC chart is causing the organ or gland to be unhappy. If you watch how Dr Brad does this on youtube videos and his training videos with the BC system or certification, you will learn how to do this, and it won't feel so overwhelming.
          Hope that helps. 🙂

I thought I'd give this a "test run" on myself. I checked all my glands were happy and then had your hormone chart on the screen in front of me but hadn't read it (I have a 'phobia' of medical sounding words!). I asked if there was a hormone on the list that was functioning at less than 100% of its total capability and using the Column / Row elimination process ended up at B6. Testing each individual hormone it was evident that Melanocyte stimulating hormone was the problem. I used the Body Code to identify what was the cause was and fixed it. Now - why is this special? Because I have vitiligo (numerous patches of skin with no pigmentation and what is the hormone responsible for binding with receptors in the skin to produce melanin? Yup - you guessed it MSH! I've asked if the receptors in my skin are "happy" and they are. So, it takes 28 days for a skin cell to reach the surface - I will keep you posted.

      • Charan

        February 7, 2013

Gail, I actually worked on my nephew who had allergies, asthma and vitiligo. It was very interesting. His subconscious didn't want to work on the vitiligo first, but on the other issues, and we never even got to work on the vitiligo. The end result of the vitiligo went away....
But let us know about what your experience is with it. 🙂

An update: on jan. 30 I checked my hormones using your chart and cleared many TE's from it. I am feeling better everyday since. (thyroid problems for 25 yrs) Doing emotion code intensively for 2.5 yrs now for myself and family and friends and had great results with it already, but your hormones chart and explanation are finetuning my 'system' even more!! This is truly a great gift Charan! On feb 1 so a few days ago my mother (81) had a knee surgery and before during and after the operation a did a lot of clearing for her using EC and some BC and of course I now use your hormones chart as well. She is recovering wonderfull also!
Again many thanks to you sharing this with us and of course to dr Brad for making it all possible. Best of luck to all contributers on healerslibrary.

If the glands are not happy, do we first find out why and locate which gand(s) is unhappy before proceeding?

    • Connie Barton

      February 8, 2013

      Hi Jeanne,

Yes! You might ask 'Is there a reason why this gland is unhappy or unbalanced?' 'Is this reason on the Body Code chart?' and then proceed from there.

    February 3, 2013

Hi all , thank you so much for this info this is so " up my street " and I have been wondering about the possibility of using TEC to help with hormones. In over 17 years of trying to correct my body ( stage 3 adrenal exhaustion, thyroid underactive, being attacked by antibodies ( I know that is Hosimodies but I cannot spell it ! ) low oestrogen and progesterone that never reaches minim, no ovulation, melatonin that goes high in the morning , low at night and cortisol that is spiking at 12 mid day. I have been tested the last 3 years on all these issues the last test were done in June, and there is little change in any of them. I have long believed that since nutrition so far has had no effect and people who have treated me are baffled as to why there is no change. I have had a lot of energy work done so do not live the life of someone who would have all these imbalances, however I obviously want to heal and have happy hormones. I am super excited to see if this info will help to make those changes. Thank you so much

Why isn't it enough to ask for the trapped emotions that contributed to such a high glycemic score and then use the EC chart to identify them and release them? What am I missing here?

    February 3, 2013

Update: After I submitted my question I thought I'd plunge ahead, the best I could. I check all my glands and organs and cleared the trapped emotions in those that did not test to be happy. This took a while. Then I went to the chart of hormones and got the name of one that was not fully functioning and i was told there were trapped emotions causing this. There were actually quite a few which I did clear. It was a lot of work, just for one hormone. I'm feeling rather overwhelmed by the process, wondering how many more hormones will need treatment. Do you have any comments? Thank you.

    • Charan

      February 7, 2013

Christa, take your time with it and be gentle with your body and the process. We are all different of course, and so your experience will be relative to you.
I've in the past wanted to do continue working on myself and keep releasing...but then I realised my body is to be respected too, as it needs time to catch up.
So speaking from experience on this..be gentle....
      Lots of love

Thank you.....have been using since first read this yesterday....I am wondering if there is a reason for some of the hormones being listed twice? Maybe because they act on certain areas of the body almost equally? Thank you.

    • Donna

      February 5, 2013

I don't see any listed twice, Beverly - some are similar but not identical.

      • Xavier Raj

        April 24, 2013

First, there is no hormone in the name of Melanocyte. Melanocytes are melanin-producing cells. The hormone is Melanin. Through a process called melanogenesis, these cells produce melanin, which is a pigment found in the skin, eyes, and hair.

    • Charan

      February 7, 2013

Beverly, as Donna has already said, they are not the same but similar in name. 🙂

Charan, wow this make TEC even more powerful but I have 3 questions for you. 1st, I printed the blog with the chart but it is so small it is difficult to read. Is there another place the chart is available for download?

Second question is when we use this chart do we use it the same way as for TEC.....asking which column/row and the each individual hormone to determine the one out of balance? Lastly, since the names are difficult to pronounce can we then number the sub-rows to get the answer?

I am working on my TEC certification and love this modality.... for me it is the Holy Grail. When I complete the certification then it is on to The Body Code for me.

Will you write to my email address or do I need to check back here periodically for my answers?

many blessings this info will be helpful to me because I am dealing with hormone issues.

    • Charan

      February 7, 2013

      Hi Cathy
      Thanks for your questions.
      1. If you want to email me I can send the table to you in a word document.
      2. Yes you do ask which row and column just like the EC chart. This is why I have put it in this format to keep things consistent.
      3. Your subconscious mind knows what's there already whether you say the names of the hormones or not. Sometimes when I'm working on family or myself on the go (as I'm doing errands in the day), I don't have the chart in front of me but I know there are 7 in each box. So I just ask is it 1, 2, etc. It works quite well. 🙂

Let us know how it goes!
And I look forward to your email.
      Charan 🙂

I've just read through the many comments and I can understand why Cristina (not the same as me but our names are similar) asked why we can't just test for trapped emotions directly. I, too, have wondered this since it seems that, ultimately, we end up having to clear trapped emotions anyway.

My undertanding, Cristina, is that we are supposed to go through the Body Code chart first because there may be other reasons for the imbalance than trapped emotions. Charon, please correct me if I'm wrong or if you have anything to add to this. Thank you.

Charan, Thanks so much for this chart, and all the wonderful information. As I was copying it, however, into an Excel spreadsheet I noticed that there are 3 duplicate hormones listed: Atrial Natriuretic Peptide, Calcitonin, and Brain Natriueretic Peptide. Is there a reason for the duplicates, or can they be deleted from the chart?

After reading all 81 comments so far, I see that I can add 2 more duplicate hormones: Cholecystokinin and Melanocyte-Stimulating H which is Melanin. All duplicates are spelled the same ... so could you please let us know if there's a reason for the duplicates, and if so, should leave them in the chart or remove them?

  42. Tara

    May 9, 2013

Hi Charen, Thanks for creating this chart! I have a few questions as well...

First, I am confused by how you would produce an answer from the question "Which hormones are not functioning optimally and creating this dis-ease or symptom?", since it is not a yes or no question, wouldn't you just bypass this step and start with the question "Is there a hormone on this chart that is contributing to this dis-ease or symptom?"?
    2. Is it possible to have this chart incorporated into the Mind Maps Program as an update, so that we don't have to use it as a separate supplementation? It seems that this would allow a pathway to the blocks in this area while we are using the program, rather than coming to it as a side note.
    3. I tried going to the link for the download that Connie posted, but this was a link to the Emotional Code Starter Program. Since I already own the program, do I have to download the Starter Program to get the chart, and is it part of the flow charts mentioned? Or could you just email me a pdf like the others?
    My email is tcphotography@involved.com
    4. I am also wondering about the duplicates on the chart?

Thanks for creating this, I am also is the mists of investigating ways to test the hormones, so this was perfect timing!!

    Charan,

I had an amazing healing using your hormones chart with the Emotion Code that I want to share with you.

I completed my EC certification a few months ago but have not yet incorporated it into my work. I use it on myself almost daily and occasionally with friends who are in need, so it is always uppermost in my tools chest for any issues that arise, physical or emotional.

On my birthday (May 21) and in the middle of my packing and moving to another house, three joints in my left foot became swollen, painful and sensitive that I could not bend my foot or put weight on it which made me walk with a limp. The large joint in the ball of my foot, the joint in my big toe and the joint in between the two had all become inflamed – a 9 pain rating.

That night I was able to take the pain down to 2 ½ using the EC. The next morning it was still at a 2 ½ so I began to remove more trapped emotions. I felt stuck and intuitively felt that I needed to do add something in order to heal my foot problem completely. That’s when I remembered your hormone chart downloaded from Dr Nelson’s newsletter a few months earlier. Without reading your post on how to use the chart, I began.

I identified each hormone whose dysfunction was creating a specific pain or swelling in my foot, I rated the percentage of the dysfunction (most were functioning below 5%) and asked what trapped emotion was causing the imbalance. Then I removed the trapped emotion. (There was mostly 1 trapped emotion per dysfunctional hormone.)

I did this until the pain completely disappeared, which took about 20 minutes! Although I had facilitated multiple successful healing sessions on myself and my practice clients, this was most awesome because my foot returned to normal in such a short time. I could walk, run, skip and jump as I could before the problem!

I have since used your hormone chart almost every time I use EC. When I asked my guidance if it was a short cut to releasing the culprit trapped emotions, the answer was that it was a shortcut in the long run. In other words, although identifying the dysfunctional hormone and releasing the trapped emotions causing the dysfunction takes a moment longer, it saves time and trouble overall - for me.

I learned the importance of a healthy endocrine system through healing myself of lupus over the last 25 years so I know the value of your chart. Our body chemistry (neuro-transmitters and other hormones) govern all our systems and hold the key to health. Your hormone chart adds a new dimension to my use of the Emotion Code. Thank you for sharing it.

This information is brilliant and I much appreciate you sharing it but am wondering why no one yet has answered the question about the duplications - any suggestions?

    Hi All

The easiest way to get the chart is to right click on it and then select "Save Image As..." (about half way down the list of shortcut options) and save it somewhere where you will remember. This will let you see it in a slightly larger format because you can change the zoom level of the window it appears in when you activate it.

    I hope this helps.

BTW - apologies for not updating you all sooner (I've been very busy building my Body Code practice and moving to the other end of the country!) however, I'm pleased to report that my Vitiligo is much improved (although still evident) - the distinction between the areas lacking pigmentation and those where the pigmentation seemed to be over-stated has significantly diminished. I have mentally added the hormones to the Circuitry area of The Body Code, so if imbalances point me to that section and it is none of the ones in the chart I always ask "is it Hormones?" and upon getting a "yes" I then go to the chart and identify which hormone is imbalanced.

    🙂

This is great! This ties in with what I have been reading about the major meridian systems (the Emotion code keeps telling me my spleen is an issue, and I really didn't understand what that meant). I would love to see one that ties into the chakras and the flow of each system's energy meridians. I'm reading "Energy Medicine" by Donna Eden and I find all of this energy/body system info so fascinating. The trapped emotions and inherited trapped emotions lens really brings it all together for me, as does the sway test, which works much better for me alone than the arm strength test.
The big issue for me is that I seem to have piles and piles of inherited emotions along with my own emotions...I am feeling like "is this heart wall ever gonna come down?"
Also, I would love to hear how/if people use EFT Tapping in combination with the EC/BC system. Lastly, in the heat of an emotion (being really upset, angry, panicked, or in my case, facing the overwhelming propulsion of my binge eating addiction, does it work to try to ease the "overwhelming" emotion in the moment? Or is that the Eft part?
    thanks...

      Hi Cajeta

I am a Level 3 EFT practitioner and also certificated by Karl Dawson as an advanced Matrix Reimprinting practitioner. I have been practicing EFT for about 5 years. I trained as a Touch For Health practitioner in 1984 where I learnt to do Muscle Testing and have been doing it ever since - testing everything! I also use my Pendulum. I bought the Body Code and Emotion Code Program in 2010. When my client shares his/her issue with me, I will test whether I must do EFT/MR or Body Code. 99% it is Body Code. Once I know what to balance/release, I always ask if we need more information. 99% of the time the answer is no in which case I proceed with the magnets. Should I get a yes I will test if I need to do EFT MR and I have had to do just that. I am happy to share more with you via Skype if you wish. I am having awesome results with my clients. See ya. Thank you for responding Annette!

I know I have so many imbalances and energies running backwards. So far I love my experiences with the emotion code, EFT matrix, and Donna Eden's energy medicine books and videos.

    Thank you so much Charan!
My oldest friend in Sweden has or should a say had psoriasis, very very badly.
I used your hormone chart and balanced 7 hormons on the 4 August and now 2,5 month later she is almost free of psoriasis.
    What an amazing result.
    Thak YOU!
    Have beautiful weekend,
    Solveig

Thanks so much for sharing your friend's healing of psoriasis with the hormone chart Solveig--my son has this and I can't wait to do this for him. And Hazel, that was brilliant mentally adding it to the circuitry--will keep that in mind. I also have some vitiligo, so am looking forward to seeing what's possible.

Charan, would you mind emailing me this Hormone Chart also? pattyhouk@cox.net
I tried to download it but it wouldn't focus (from above) also, many thanks for all of your sharing. I am in awe of all that we are allowed to experience with this great work.
    Thanks everyone!

I have the hormone chart... but I was wondering if anyone has a definition for all the hormones on the chart? Sometimes clients want to know what a particular hormone is for. Thanks for your help.
